Location: Coalville

Reference: PV11260

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annum + uncapped commission + car allowance

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5pm

 

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an excellent Business Development person – a Sales professional who will act as the main driver of sales within the trade and installation part of the business. This is a fantastic opportunity and one where you will from day one already have over 1000 prospects to develop so our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running. You will be liaising with landscapers, installers and builders who would use your construction product range for areas such as fencing. We are looking for a commercially minded salesperson who excels at building long term relationships. It is a brand-new position so you can go in and make it your own – you will be travelling at least once per fortnight and this would particularly suit someone who has worked within a builders merchants/aggregate/landscaping company, in a fast-paced environment.

Role profile, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Handle inbound sales enquiries and manage personal accounts
  • Presenting to and meeting clients such as landscapers
  • Proactively develop opportunities from dormant and new leads.
  • Ensure all enquiries are maximised with cross-sell/upsell where appropriate

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Sales experience. 
  • Exceptional people skills and professionalism.   
  • Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Sound analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of ERP transactional process.
