This role as an in house IT technician, is to provide all the users with 1st and 2nd line IT support and act as the first port of call for all technical service queries and IT requests. You will be mainly using Office 365 and all other systems are bespoke to the client. This is a brand new IT Technician role due to expansion within the team. The company is exciting and forward thinking in nature. As the new IT Technician you will be welcomed in and be part of a small dedicated IT department that are really friendly and supportive.
Role profile:- 1st and 2nd IT line support to all users based in multi-site locations
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for desktops, laptops, mobile phones and other devices
- Act as the first port of call for technical service requests
- Log and maintain all IT details of the support and service tickets
- Respond to more complex problems and escalate them upwards for resolution
- Provide 1st line IT diagnosis and resolve with the ideal being to fix first-time
- Repair problems with computers, printers, networks and software
Person profile:- Good communication skills across all levels of the business
- Strong problem solving skills
- Evaluate and prioritise tasks
- You will be required to travel to sites occasionally so a driving licence is a prerequisite
Essential criteria:- Knowledge predominantly of Windows 10/11, Sharepoint Online, Office 365
- Capable to pick up bespoke systems quickly
- Speak to different teams and people across the board to improve company IT efficiency
