JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Procurement Sourcing Buyer
ROLE PROFILE:- Assist in the professional sourcing and procurement service in addition to be being the key internal contact on products, equipment and merchandise
- Maintain effective working relationships with all key suppliers and manufacturers to ensure best-value and efficiencies of scale;
- Work with the supply chain, including quality control and ethical/sustainable practice.
PERSON PROFILE:- Motivated, proactive and able to work independently, a ‘self-starter’
- Ability to set and complete priorities, achieve targets and respond quickly and flexibly to changing needs and tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:- Proven experience in a product buying/sourcing role
- Proven experience of sales/product management, assisting with budget setting, pricing, sales forecasting and sales reporting
- Experience of working with product manufacturers and suppliers, including negotiation of contracts
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:- Member of CIPS
- Knowledge and experience of e-commerce platforms
