Salary:Approx. £24,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours:Full or Part Time Monday to Friday between 21.75 and 36.25 hours
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Compliance and Risk Assistant. The ideal candidate will be experienced within the financial sector and have a flair for analysing data and a strong eye for detail.
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity to join an established financial services organisation in the heart of Loughborough. This role is offered on a full time basis but our client is open to flexible, part time working requests too. You will be somebody who loves compliance and data collation and reporting.
Role Profile:- - Assist in oversight of the organisation’s risk management framework and monitoring of compliance
- - Plan and perform compliance-based testing, collate results and prepare reports
- - Resolve risk and compliance issues within the business through proactive ideas
- - Maintain risk and compliance database
- - Prepare risk and compliance reports, collating Management Information for reporting to senior management
- - Build effective relationships internally and externally
- - Develop and maintain regulatory knowledge
Person profile:- - Experience of working in financial services desirable
- - Knowledge and understanding of regulation and risk
- - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- - Ability to analyse risk
- - Excellent organisation skills and able to work effectively under pressure
- - Skilled in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word
Desired criteria:- - Previous Financial Service experience
- - Previous experience in compliance and risk
