HOURS: 37.5 hours per week Monday to FridayJR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Reception Manager to manage and oversee the reception and client services team ensuring a high level of professionalism is maintained over several offices at all times.
The Opportunity: Reception Manager
This is a brand new position for our client following expansion and is an excellent opportunity for somebody who has had office management experience and used to working in a professional, confidential environment. As the Head of Reception/Reception Manager you will manage the Front of House team, working alongside senior business management, ensuring the high standards of client care are met daily.
Role profile of the Head of Reception- - Supervise the front of house staff, taking responsibility for the level of care provided to visitors and clients
- - Manage a small team of receptionists, including training, mentoring, appraisals and performance management
- - Recruitment for reception/front of house
- - Manage the daily timetable for reception cover, ensuring each reception is staffed consistently during office hours
- - General reception duties and overseeing general tidiness and high standard of upkeep at all times
- - Produce reports on service usage and issues for senior management
- - Ensure the high standards of client care are consistently both face to face and via email and telephone
- - Regularly review Front of House services and implement improved procedures where necessary
- - Various other duties as and when required
Person profile; as Reception Manager you will have/be:- - Prior experience of working in a client-focussed front of house role
- - Previous experience of managing, leading and developing a small team
- - Experience working in a busy, fast paced environment
- - An excellent communicator both written and verbal
- - Hold high standards of customer care
- - Excellent eye for detail
- - A natural leader who leads by example
- - Can manage own workload and engage and encourage others to drive for excellence and achievement
- - Problem solver who can offer dynamic solutions to issues as and when they arise
