SALARY: Up to £23,000 per annum dependent on experience
HOURS: 37.25 hours per week Monday to Friday
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Credit Controller and Sales Ledger Clerk who can hit the ground running.
The Opportunity:
This position is a great opportunity, and our client is looking for someone long term to stay and be a pivotal person to the department. It is a permanent opportunity for a Credit Controller and Sales Ledger Clerk based within an established manufacturing company in Loughborough. You will be working in a small team so you al help one another and pitch in to help when busy so your role may include accounts payable tasks too.
Role profile:- Day to day credit control duties – managing and collecting debts from company debtors
- Routine statements and payment reminders
- Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-paid debts
- Aged debt reporting
- Control credit limits
- Setting up new accounts
- Invoice processing – using customer self-billing systems, inter-company invoicing and raising sales invoices specific to customer requirements
- Helping other accounts team members
- Using a bespoke system
- Excel spreadsheet work must be able to do formulas
- Various other duties as and when required within the department
Person profile:- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
