Permanent Position
Loughborough area
£22,000 – £24,500 per annum
8.30am-5.00pm Mon to Fri (40 hours per week)
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking foran experienced Senior Credit Controller with excellent eye for detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Role profile:- - Ensure all sales ledger transactions are managed in a timely manner
- - Ensure all customers meet their payment terms
- - Be proactive in communicating with customers in advance of invoice dates
- - Monitor late payments and ensure customers are put on stop
- -Enter sales invoices and credit notes accurately on swiftly
- - Manage all customer queries relating to POD’s, price discrepancies and any other queries which may require a credit note raising
- - Open new sales ledger accounts once credit checked
- - Any other duty as required by the finance team at any point
Person profile:- - Confident and self motivated
- - Excellent communicator both written and oral
- - Able to demonstrate logical thinking and predict patterns or repeat behaviour
Essential criteria:- - CICM or AAT (or other appropriate accounting qual.)
- - Excellent Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP
- - Experience of working in a busy transaction processing team
- - Experience of transacting in foreign currency
