Role profile:
A Transport Planner is required on a permanent basis, the ideal candidate will be highly experienced with an excellent geographical knowledge, have their own transport and previous experience in a Transport Planner role. Our client is open to people at all levels of experience and stages in their Transport career.
Person profile:- Excellent geographical, logistical knowledge and experience
- Previous experience of planning and routing vehicles using transport planning software
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to build relationships with colleagues and clients
- 1st class Customer Service skills and the desire to go above and beyond
- Used to working in a busy, fast paced environment and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Highly motivated and resourceful
Essential criteria:- Previous experience within a Transport Planner role
- Excellent geographical knowledge is essential
- Logistics knowledge a must
- Strong PC skills
- Ability to multi-task
