JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Finance Team Leader to join their established team.
The Opportunity:
This is a brand new role to oversee an established, successful team, offering an individual the opportunity of joining a respected, fast growing specialist in their market.

Role profile:
  • Oversee and lead a team of 6 finance professionals
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, VAT and payroll submissions as well providing assistance in final accounts preparation
  • Identify areas for further training and investment within the team, allowing for a culture of development and progression
  • Ensure month end reconciliation deadlines are met, through effective team leadership
  • Liaise with clients on a daily basis via email, telephone, video-link and occasionally face to face
Person profile:
  • Motivated, proactive and able to effectively lead a team
  • Ability to set and complete priorities, achieve targets and respond quickly and flexibly to changing needs and tight deadlines
  • Excellent time management and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff
Essential criteria:
  • AAT qualified or QBE with 3 experience years working within a similar role
  • Analytical skills
  • Team leadership experience
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desired criteria:
  • Experience within a financial services company
