Role: Interim Finance Manager

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Reference: T3400

Duration: Fixed Term Contract for 4 months

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 depending upon experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm (37.5 Hours)

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client, who is looking for an Interim Finance Manager who is very hands on and an excellent all-round finance professional. This is a brand-new position to go in and really make it your own within a 4- month period so we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running.

You will be managing the handover of work from the existing finance dept and be dealing with every aspect of finance management to take this area into the next stage.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to work in a fast-paced, growing and developing business who will make a real mark within their field.

This interim finance role is to put a financial process / model in place to enable the rapid growth of the business. Our client is not looking for consultancy – they need a hands-on approach of delivery.

The Aim: To re-vamp the existing financial process / systems to maximise efficiency and enhance the current process.

Role profile:

Look at all systems and processes that build the foundations for future growth

Look at Actual v Forecasting for the next 5 years

Review of P&L approach

  • Look at PO method / expenses / credit

  • To deliver P&L, management accounting and forecasting

  • Build a Stock value methodology

  • Look at Cash flow / cash generation

Train existing staff to be able to deliver financial management on a day to day basis

Lots of ad-hoc and hands on tasks

Skills & Attributes:

Excellent finance experience at a senior level ideally having experience within a SME

Attention to detail

Curious mind

Excellent communication skills

Ability and understanding of all objectives, policies and procedures required

Team player and ability to work effectively with all internal and external colleagues
