TITLE: Business Development Manager
JOB REF: PV11131
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Coalville
Salary: £35,000 + Bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
 
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a motivated, driven Business development/Sales Manager.
 
The Opportunity:
A specialist, niche provider in an engineering industry that is growing at a fast pace to match the ongoing advancements in a technologically product driven market. A technical background and knowledge would be advantageous for someone in this role.
 
The Company:
An international company and the Coalville office is the European office and is responsible for sales, marketing and logistics. The offer 1st class support and service to their clients and are renowned within their industry.

ROLE PROFILE:  

  • Maintain strong relationships with and be the main contact for a portfolio of customers
  • Present solutions to the customers that fit their needs while assuring customer satisfaction
  • Seek new customers and offer them your bespoke service which sets you apart from competitors
  • Manage all inbound enquiries from new customers
  • Work closely with the international head office for technical support
  • Represent the company and create further opportunities to generate sales
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple customers and sales opportunities
  • Create reports, update internal forecasts and keep the CRM system updated

 
PERSON PROFILE:

  • Motivated, proactive and able to work independently, a ‘self-starter’
  • Ability to set and complete priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A natural relationship builder and networker
  • Work on own initiative as well as in a team, looking for a real “Team Player”
  • Happy using technology, and picks new systems up fast

 
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

  • Proven ability to present solutions to clients
  • Willingness to learn and understand our clients products and have a proven track record selling technical parts and/or services
  • Demonstrate an ability to ask the key questions of clients to generate an opportunity to present a solution.

 
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

  • Ideally degree educated
