SALARY: £21,000 per annum
HOURS: Part Time Monday to Thursday flexible hours (current employee does 08:15 – 17:00 but they would offer later start and early finish)
 
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experiences Receptionist to manage their reception area on a part time basis – Monday to Thursday, and also assist with various administrative duties as required. The current post holder will be retiring at the end of March 2024 and the client would like to allow for a two week handover so being available mid-March 2024 is essential.
 
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity to work as a Receptionist in a local, family run business. As receptionist you will be in charge of meeting and greeting visitors to site, managing incoming calls, monitoring the voicemail and distributing messages throughout the business. This role will suit somebody who has worked as a receptionist before and has had some payroll experience ideally.
 
The Company:
A long-established family run business based in the outskirts of Loughborough who take pride in being at the cutting edge of technical developments in their field and work within a variety of sectors.
 
Role profile:
  • - General reception duties such as greeting visitors, incoming telephone calls etc.
  •  
  • - Checking voicemail messages and relaying to appropriate staff members
  •  
  • - Weekly payroll for approx. 45 staff members on Axis Diplomat (full training given)
  •  
  • - Distributing incoming post
  •  
  • - Franking outgoing post
  •  
  • - Purchase ledger work, inputting invoices on the system
  •  
  • - Various other duties as and when required
 
Person profile:
  •  
  • - Previous receptionist experience essential
  •  
  • - A strong communicator both written and verbal
  •  
  • - Well presented and confident greeting visitors
  •  
  • - Payroll experience preferable
  •  
  • - Good IT skills including MS Office
  •  
  • - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  •  
  • - Friendly and a team player
