HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, 9am to 6pm alternating weekly shifts.JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a well-established client who is looking for an ambitious, well presented Receptionist who is seeking a role in an organisation which will offer training and clear progression routes.
The Opportunity: Receptionist
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional, well-presented candidate with some previous office experience to work as a Receptionist in a leading, client-focussed organisation in the heart of Loughborough. You will be the first point of contact for the office and will be able to provide the highest standards of client service with confidence and professionalism. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for somebody who wants to develop their skills and progress internally with opportunities to enter into legal and financial industries.
Role profile of the Receptionist
- - Confidently answer the telephone, take messages and arrange call-backs where required
- - Collect and deliver post daily at the nearby Royal Mail sorting office
- - Complete daily postal duties – opening scanning and distributing
- - Accurately input data using back-office systems
- - Review clint details prior to on-site appointments in order to provide a personalised welcome.
- - Prepare client refreshments
- - Undertake additional training (if required) to serve as Fire Marshal, First Aider and Intruder Marshal
- - Various administrative duties
Person profile; as Receptionist you will have/be:- - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- - Confident, professional and well presented
- - Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- - Technologically adept particularly in MS Office 365
- - Able to give and receive constructive feedback to support self-development.
- - Two years previous reception/front of house experience desirable
- - Inquisitive mind with an eagerness to learn new skills
- - Understanding of Legal, financial services and accounting industries desirable
