JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their small Finance team. This role will suit a junior candidate with a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.

The role:
The focus for our client is finding the perfect fit for their team to replace a staff member who has moved into another area of the business. Experience of working in Accounts is not essential as training will be given but the role will suit a recent finance graduate or somebody with accounting technical knowledge.
 
Role profile:
  •  
  • - Credit control duties, focusing on reducing the debt on a monthly basis
  •  
  • - Liaise with other teams to resolve debt-related queries
  •  
  • - Assist in allocation of cash
  •  
  • - Manage daily banking movement and allocations
  •  
  • - Bank reconciliations
  •  
  • - Produce and send monthly statements for outstanding debt
  •  
  • - Various other duties as and when necessary

  • - Accounting technical knowledge

  • - Adaptability to work in a changing environment
  •  
  • - Experience of cash allocation and minimising unallocated cash
