Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm 1 hour lunch
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Credit Controller with excellent communication skills, particularly via telephone to join a busy Finance Department.
ROLE PROFILE:- - Obtain payment of overdue debt from clients utilising effective chasing methods
- - Liaise with clients to acquire promises to pay, document effectively and chase when not met
- - Produce and distribute client statements
- - Send copy invoices out to clients when required
- - Process over-the-phone payments as and when required
- - Monitor to department phone and email inbox
- - Liaise with the cashier team to identify unallocated cash received
- - Work with other departments to ensure client queries are dealt with professionally and promptly
- - Call clients to ensure all invoices/statements have been received before debt becomes due
- - Various other duties as and when required
PERSON PROFILE:- - IT Literate, particularly in Excel and Word
- - Excellent communication skills, particularly a strong and effective telephone manner
- - Previous credit control experience is essential
- - Methodical, accurate and have excellent attention to detail
- - Ability to work alone and manage own workload with minimal supervision
