LOCATION: Loughborough
SALARY: £18,000 per annum
HOURS: 37.25 hours per week Monday to Friday
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a finance and payroll apprentice this is a fantastic opportunity to start a career within finance. You will process financial date and assist with internal and external financial reporting.
The Opportunity:
This is a 3 year fixed term contract opportunity for an Apprentice for an entry level fiancé professional based within an extremely reputable organisation in Loughborough.
Role profile of the Accounts Payable Administrator:- Raising purchase orders
- Processing purchase invoices
- Processing sales invoices
- Processing staff expenses after reviewing them
- Supporting credit control
- Uploading payroll data
- Assisting with posting good’s received notes
- Assisting with monthly management reports and forecasts preparation
- Maintaining open purchase orders record
- Investigating and resolving missing/unknown transactions
- Preparing banks reconciliations
- Posting and preparing month end journals
- Chasing suppliers for invoices where missing
- Assisting with supporting other teams when needed
- Other duties as and when required
Person profile:
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Able to use initiative and ask relevant questions when required
A natural problem solver
Ability to work to deadlines
