Hours: 35 per week Monday to Friday
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking fora Finance Team Leaderwho can effectively cover all duties in Operational Finance along with supporting and mentoring their team.
Role profile:- Assisting with all transactional finance
- Invoicing
- Credit Control
- DD maintenance
- Production of bank reconciliations
- Cash allocation
- Month end
- Double entry accounting
- Liaising with clients and various other departments in the business
- Setting and meeting objectives as agreed
- Supporting / leading and mentoring
Person profile:- Accounting technical knowledge
- Sound knowledge of double entry accounting and journals
- Attention to detail
- Adaptability to work in a changing environment
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Intermediate in Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Excellent communication skills / friendly demeanour
- Comfortable with delegation
- Highly organised with ability to prioritise
- Work well in a fast paced environment
- Cope under pressure
- Reliability
- Positive attitude
- Chain management experience (highly desirable)
- Process improvement experience (highly desirable)
- Experienced in leadership / mentoring
- Degree in Accounting & Finance or AAT qualified
- ACCA or CIMA (desirable but not essential)
