TITLE: Finance Assistant
JOB REF: T3258
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temporary for around 5 months
LOCATION: Loughborough
SALARY: Up to £24,000 per annum dependent on experience
HOURS: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 5:00pm 37.5 hours per week
 
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who is available immediately and can hit the ground running with confidence. There is flexibility that once trained up you may be able to work from home for 2 days per week.
 
The Opportunity:
This position requires an immediate start and will be potentially be for 5 months so you must be able to commit to the whole assignment. It is an excellent opportunity to work in a medium sized services company with a great reputation and strong company ethos.
 
We are looking for a bright enthusiastic person who is numerate and computer literate.  Someone who would enjoy working within a busy office, and relish being a team player.
 
Role profile:
  • Process expense invoices and prepare invoice accruals at month end
  • Process credit card expenses, personal expenses
  • Process mileage claims and reconcile private mileage
  • Complete credit applications forms from suppliers
  • Run daily listing reports
  • Refresh and check debit note spreadsheet, post journal each month
  • Bank and Vouchers reconciliations
  • To liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless transition of information.
  • Any other duties as defined by management
Person profile:
  • Prior accounts experience is essential
  • Good communication skills both on the phone and face to face with external and internal customers
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Proactive
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Team player
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
  • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience using SAP is advantageous
