Syston based
£23,000 - £25,000  
37.5 hrs per week, 8.30 - 5.00pm, Mon to Fri
 
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking fora client focused administrator who can assist in developing a profitable publishing programme. You will be developing relationships with agents, authors and publishers.
Creating P&Ls, pitching, negotiating contracts and overseeing the creative process
 
 
Role profile:                   
  • Planning, scheduling and performing key admin duties
  • Looking after key contracts for the business from an admin perspective
  • Commercial analysis, product development, and working closely across supply chain and marketing
  • Manage, organise and prioritise workload
  • Attend internal and external meetingsto curate and acquire rights competitively from literary agents and publishers, delivering a commercially successful and attractive range.
  • The role involves working with a team on creation of detailed publishing schedules, commercial analysis, product development, and working closely across supply chain and marketing for effective publishing plans.
  • Developing close effective business relationships with authors, literary agents, publishers and retailers, pitching the company and its products to achieve preferred partner status

  • Analytical thinker
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Clear and confident communication skills
 
Essential criteria:                           
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Commercial business drive
  • Negotiator with good financial acumen
  • Sound Excel knowledge at least to an intermediate level
  • Must be able to commit to the full 12 month contract and be available to start immediately
