SALARY: Up to £25,000 per annum dependent on experience
HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Credit Controller who can hit the ground running.
The Opportunity:
This position is a permanent opportunity for a Credit Controller based within an established manufacturing company in Loughborough.
Role profile:- Working alongside one other credit controller
- Day to day credit control duties – managing and collecting debts from company debtors
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings with insurers
- Posting of bank receipts to accounting system
- liaising with solicitors for debts which need referring
- Managing of proforma invoices to be sent to customers
- Routine statements and payment reminders for credit control purposes
- Investigate and resolve queries relating to non-paid debts
- Aged debt reporting for all credit control activities
- Control credit limits
- Setting up new accounts for the credit control team
- Invoice processing – using customer self-billing systems, inter-company invoicing and raising sales invoices specific to customer requirements
- Various other duties as and when required as a credit controller within the department
Person profile:- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Sage line 50 experience would be beneficial as they use this within the credit control team
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
