Permanent position
Location: Loughborough
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 FTE so on a pro rata basis
Hours: up to 30 hours per week, Mon to Fri
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a well-established client who are a successful market leader in their industry. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager for a permanent position to start as soon as possible. This would suit someone who is CIPD qualified or proven experience at this level. This is a stand-alone role so you will need to work independently as well as in a team.
ROLE PROFILE:
- Employment Relations and legislation – to keep abreast of latest changes and ensure these are applied
- HR compliance
- Dealing with all compansation and benefits
- Recruitment and talent management
- Building strong working relationships
- Always seeking to give the best advice on all HR topics
- Prepare and collect all new starter and onboarding documentation, and set them up on all systems
- Manage the admin of all training sessions and events
- Aid in all areas of HR as necessary
- Keep HR records up-to-date and compliant with local legislation, corporate policies and GDPR
- Support the company in any kind of ad hoc HR projects
PERSON PROFILE:
- Higher Education Degree and/or CIPD qualification
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and be able to work methodically, consistently and be a self-starter
- Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills including tact and discretion and the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to objectively and systematically analyse problems in order to make the most effective decisions, through logical and creative approaches
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Proven experience in a busy HR role at a similar level
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Able to work independently
- Proven knowledge of HR processes
