LOCATION: Melton Mowbray
SALARY: £12.00-£14.00 per hour dependent on experience
HOURS: Monday to Friday 35 hours (client would consider part time hours)
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is available immediately and can hit the ground running with confidence. This role reports to the FC. You must be available to start on 17th Sept 2021 and be willing to commit to the whole length of the temporary assignment.
The Opportunity:
This position requires an immediate start and will be for a minimum of 3 months. Excellent opportunity to work in an excellent company with a great reputation and strong company ethos.
Role profile:- Uploading bank
- Posting cash to customer
- Posting cash to vendors
- Completing 2 payment runs a month and uploading to bank
- Adding payments as an when needed on a daily basis.
- Setting up new customers
- Setting up new vendors
- Running credit and insurance reports
- Set up new vendors
- Setting up customer and vendor accounts on SAP
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Chasing overdue accounts
- Completing bi-monthly payment schedules on SAP
- Dealing with any adhoc payments
- Monthly reconciliations
- Dealing with Intrastat
- Payroll monthly tasks
- Lots of ad hoc accounts tasks
Person profile:- Sound accounts experience and knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
- Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience using SAP is advantageous
