JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Finance Team Leader to join their established team.

Role profile:- Oversee and lead a team of 6 finance professionals
- Oversee bank reconciliations, VAT and payroll submissions as well providing assistance in final accounts preparation
- Identify areas for further training and investment within the team, allowing for a culture of development and progression
- Ensure month end reconciliation deadlines are met, through effective team leadership
- Liaise with clients on a daily basis via email, telephone, video-link and occasionally face to face
Person profile:- Motivated, proactive and able to effectively lead a team
- Ability to set and complete priorities, achieve targets and respond quickly and flexibly to changing needs and tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff
Essential criteria:- AAT qualified or QBE with 3 experience years working within a similar role
- Analytical skills
- Team leadership experience
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Desired criteria:- Experience within a financial services company
