SALARY: £25,000 per annum
HOURS: 8am – 6pm with an hour lunch

The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to work for an established, family-run logistics company in a fast-paced environment. Our client has an outstanding reputation for offering 1st class customer service to some big names within the motor industry.
Role profile:
An urgent Transport Planner is required on a temporary to permanent basis, the ideal candidate will be available immediately, drive and have their own transport and previous experience in a Transport Planner role.
Person profile:- - Excellent geographical and logistical knowledge and experience
- - Previous experience of planning and routing vehicles using transport planning software
- - Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- - Able to build relationships with colleagues and clients
- - 1st class Customer Service skills and the desire to go above and beyond
- - Used to working in a busy, fast paced environment and ability to remain calm under pressure
- - Highly motivated and resourceful
Essential criteria:- - Previous experience within a Transport Planner role
- - Excellent geographical knowledge is essential
- - Strong PC skills
- - Ability to multi-task
