EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

LOCATION: Loughborough

SALARY: Around £30k per annum

HOURS: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
 
JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience in IT/Computing within a professional setting to manage the cloud operations IT infrastructure within the business and liaise with various departments to ensure smooth running of projects and timely outcomes.

Role profile:

  • - Receive, record and monitor customer support calls, seeing them through until the call is resolved
  •  
  • - Liaise with various different departments in relation to resolving ad hoc queries and support requests.
  •  
  • - Manage and maintain other IT systems where required
  •  
  • - Work as a team with colleagues to ensure a smooth and consistent delivery of projects
  •  
  • - Investigate and test new systems to improve service
  •  
  • - Help with the team’s monthly reporting activities where necessary
  •  
  • - Maintain industry knowledge of latest cloud and hosting technologies
  •  
  • - Maintenance of cloud based and traditional hosted customer product/application placements
 
 
Essential Experience:

  • - Professional IT/Computing experience and/or a formal qualification in a related subject
  •  
  • - Experience in CRM and call management software
  •  
  • - Experience of Change, Incident, Problem and Change Request Management
  •  
  • - Able to prove technical support experience
  •  
  • - Understanding of IT infrastructure, IT applications, databases and security
  •  
  • - Proficiency in English both written and verbal
 
Desirable Experience:

  • - Industry experience or certification in service delivery
  •  
  • - IT/Computing higher education level or equivalent professional experience
  •  
  • - Industry experience in SQL/Oracle
  •  
  • - Industry experience in cloud technologies
