What rights does an Agency Worker have?

Did you know?... All Agency workers are entitled to the following, depending on your employment status:-

  • National Min Wage/Living Wage
  • Protection from unlawful deductions from wages
  • Statutory Sick Pay
  • Statutory Mat and Pat Pay, Shared Parental Pay and Adoption Pay
  • Statutory holiday entitlement - 5.6 weeks a year
  • Min rest breaks
  • Max working time - 48 hours average a week, or you can opt out of this if you choose to
  • Automatically enrolled onto a pension if you meet the required criteria
  • Protection from unlawful discrimination under Equality Act 2010
  • Whistleblowing protection
  • H&S protections
  • Right to not be charged indirect/direct fees for finding a role
  • Protections fom being restricted from working elsewhere
